SONG: Losing You is all about the feeling of losing someone close. Whether you’ve lost a friend, a loved one, or a lover we all go through the cycle of grieving. The ups the downs.
CONCEPT: Capturing what it feels like to be stuck in the cycle of grief. The ups, the down, the replaying of what you said or what they said, the mourning of the hole they left in you with that person not being there, the sweet memories that pop up…all the feelings and the in-betweens. The cycle can feel like a never ending dream, so we made it seem almost like a dream with the projector and incorporating old film throughout the video.

MOODBOARD
LIGHTING INSPIRATION: Using different lighting to create a tone of feeling. Scenes shift from eerie, darker green during the moments of mourning to golden, warmer light during moments of sweet remembrance.
WARDROBE INSPIRATION: We wanted to nod to an older fashion era so that it would tie closer to the film shots incorporated in the video. This also nods to the dream-like state or a “past-life”. We also incorporated bohemian inspired outfits and a few country accessories to match the artists personality style.
