SUMMER WAYVES
INTERNSHIP PROGRAM

SCOPE: Come up with a concept for the Internship Program 2021 which would be mainly virtual with some in-person activities. The stakeholders wanted something that would excite college students candidates. The Brand Team also wanted us to use their new global design guidelines, however, we the Employer Branding Creative Team knew the Internship Program was talking to a specific target audience very different from the consumer facing audience that the Brand Team intended this guide for. Thus we came up with a campaign that took a spin off of the Brand Team guidelines due to the audience and the goals we wanted to reach. *This project was a concept project that was only presented internally due to allocation of funds and priority for the year.

CONCEPT: SUMMER WAYVES

We don’t make splashes. We make wayves. Using the new global brand guidelines as a starting point we took the brighter secondary colors & contrasted color combinations, as well as, some graphic elements like the outlined shapes & layering of lower opacity text but tailored these treatments to speak more to our audience of graduates looking for internship opportunities. We wanted to inspire a sense of empowerment and forging your own path, but also the force that is created when you are part of a whole group of individuals working towards a shared achievement. A wave not only overcomes obstacles but grows and becomes a force. An unstoppable movement. This program gives students resources to move forward and obtain real-world experience even during wavering times.
